Colour safe policy & Consultations.

All clients for any tint service will require a full consultation before any colouring service. I will carry out a hair and scalp analysis, discuss the results you want to achieve, followed by your Allergy alert test (AAT), I will also take the relevant strand tests needed to test my products on your hair & I will also discuss if you have had any history of allergies to comply with health & safety laws & my insurance policy. In very rare cases hair colour can cause an allergic reaction.

I will be able to quote for your colour service on this appointment & explain any aftercare advice that's needed to maintain your new colour.

Under 16s are unable to have any chemical services at Hair Extensions by Rebecca Banham.

This due to hair dye manufacturers stating they are not intended for use on anyone under the age of 16. The European Commission insists that this warning is on all hair colourant products.

If you look underage I will ask for ID

Existing clients

For future colour appointments I will send out my insurers screening questions around 5 days before your next appointment which will indicate to me if you require a repeat skin test before your next colour appointment.

Depending on your answer I will contact you to arrange a repeat skin test if required.

If its not convenient for you to pop in for a skin test & prefer a postal skin test, the patch test can be used at a cost of £7.50
